Translation

[The Council and the] People (have honoured) Marcus Aurelius Diogenes, legatus Augustorum pro praetore, he (who is) just, and decent, and brave, and adorned with every virtue; the most worthy Antonius Nicomachus, father of the first archon Antonius Claudius Nicomachus, offspring of high-priests, supervised the erection (of the monument).
