Fragment of white marble panel from a sarcophagus front, very worn (H. 0.55, W. 0.90), with a rebate on three edges. There is a relief of a circular object in the centre below the text and a vertical object to its left.

Inscribed on the face. The drawing suggests that there may have been a scroll to the left of l. 4.

Not described, but drawn as capitals 0.02. Standard second to third century forms.

Commentary:

ll. 1, 2 seem beyond interpretation.

ll. 3, 4 can be restored with high probability as from a penal formula (so already Cormack). We offer a standard wording, but there is some variety in texts without real differences in meaning.
