Two adjoining pieces of a white marble sarcophagus base, partially adapted with a view to re-use (W. c. 1.92 × H. 0.28 × D. 0.83).

Inscribed on the moulding, which was already faulty or damaged (the lettering in lines 2 and 3 dips into a chipped area).
Letters:
Second to third centuries A.D. standard forms; ll.1, 2, ave. 0.025; l.3, 0.03. Diacritical points on either side of the second Υ in l.3; ΜΗ ligatured, l.3.
