A bluish marble columnar statue base shaft, broken below (height 1.45. diam. 0.55).

Inscribed on the face.

0.05-0.06; ll.9, 4, 0.065; elongated and elegantly cut.
- Date:
AD 385/388 (prosopography).

Translation
The Council, in exchange for many benefits, set up this (statue of) Menander, who was affable to all, and who, making a welcome repayment for his rearing to the great city, moderated (her) tribute, and established light for all.
