This section includes an Introduction to late antique epigraphy and the late antique inscriptions of Aphrodisias, together with a discussion of their letter forms. The commentary is divided into sections. This is followed by Fasti - discussions of the magistrates and officials attested in Caria in this period, and at Aphrodisias. There is also a discussion of the monuments with which many of the inscriptions can be associated.
