Aphrodisias in Late Antiquity 2004 News

This page will contain news updates for the Aphrodisias in Late Antiquity 2004 website <http://insaph.kcl.ac.uk/ala2004>. This site is intended to remain stable and permanent; only minor non-content-bearing corrections will be changed in the live website and recorded in this page. Larger revisions will be kept until a later edition is released; relevant contributions for the next edition will be welcome.

2005-09-28: ALA 2004 Copyright clarification

The Creative Commons license information applies specifically to the narrative materials of this website: the introduction, commentary, appendices and indices. The photographs and plans are not all owned by us, and so they are subject to the usual restrictions for copyrighted material. The EpiDoc XML files containing the text and editions of the inscriptions may be considered formally exempt from clause 3, No Derivative Works. In fact we keenly encourage scholars to download our XML files and repurpose them to any interesting ends.

2005-03-04: ALA 2004 Final Launched

Today we launched the final version of ALA 2004 with its new URL /ala2004/. From now on, only minor, non-content-bearing corrections will be added—until a new edition is released at some point in the future. This site now includes a ht:/dig text-only search engine for the ALA 2004 site. The free text search allows you to choose your own search terms, but it will not take advantage of the marked up expressions. It is not yet possible to search for Greek words, which are however fully indexed.

2004-12-02: ALA 2004 Released

Today we released the final version of ALA 2004 with a temporary URL. From now on, only minor, non-content-bearing corrections will be added—until a new edition is released at some point in the future. We will launch with the permanent URL as soon as it is available. The text search engine will follow a few weeks later, when the site has been fully indexed by Google.
