Translation:

[?The council and the people honoured ?Julius] Aureli[us Charidemos the] sophist [ priest for life of the God Dio]nysos [...] [descendant of high]priests [and ... -s and those who shared in the found]ing of the [city, having] carried out [?the greatest ] magistracies and lit[urgies hon]ourably [and having ? improved] many [ things ?for the city] [...] money [....]

Commentary:

As Robert pointed out, the man honoured may be Julius Aurelius Charidemos Iulianos, known from 12.909, or his father Claudius Aurelius Zelos, with a further epithet; both men were sophists.
