Description

  • Monument: A white marble columnar statue base shaft, broken above, standing on a high plinth. The column has been re-used; decoration in relief survives on what is now the back.
  • Text: Inscribed on the upper part of the shaft.
  • Letters: 0.03.
  • Date: Third/fourth century (lettering).

Commentary

Jones has offed the conjecture [cel]sumque referre tribunal; but the surviving letter before UM does not appear to be an S.
