Description:
White marble statue base (W. 0.72 × H. 1.55 × D. 0.51) without moulding.
Text:
Inscribed on the face, which is chipped along the edges. Clamp holes have been cut into the area between lines 3 and 4, one of which has damaged the lettering of l.4.
Letters:
0.03-0.04; the lettering of l. 1 is larger, and more widely spaced

Perhaps late first century B.C. (lettering, content)

Theatre: re-used in the wall of the north analemma.

Translation:

Artemidoros son of Apollonios the son of Pereitas former stephanephorus: Kotas set up the image for the People.

Commentary:

Kotas might be a further name of Artemidoros; but the phrasing suggests that he is a separate person. If so the image was presumably of Artemidoros.
