Description:
White marble statue base (W. 0.60 × H. 0.46 × D. 0.78) with moulding above and below. There are holes on the top surface for the attachment of the statue, which has its own semi-circular base. The moulding is chipped on a edges; and a round hole has been cut in the centre of the front face.

Translation:

Imperator Caesar Domitianus Augustus, conqueror of the Germans. The People dedicated (his statue); Diogenes son of Eukles the son of Diogenes took responsibility.

Commentary:

Two dedications of statues of Domitian (this and (unpublished) =75.143) have been found at Aphrodisias; neither has suffered damnatio. Aphrodisias also dedicated to Domitian at Ephesus. For the discussion see Reynolds, loc. cit.
