Public bodies honoured . . . ?Iulia]nos son [ of ?], hero, and Flavia Apphia Iuliane, herois, daughter of Sextus Flavius Julianus Diogenes: their honours (?statues) Sextus Flavius Iulianos Diogenes, son of Sex(tus) Fl(avius) and Flavia Apphia, daughter of Ti(tus) Fl(avius) Galenos, their parents, set up.

Commentary:

This block might have been part of a statue base; but it may have formed part of the decoration of a monumental tomb; compare the similar presentation of the inscriptions from the tomb whose elements are built into the South-east Gate, 13.302 etc. (=MAMA 8, no. 474, 475, 476 etc.)
