Left side, with upper and lower edges surviving, of a rectangular white marble panel (H. 0.27 × W. 0.265 × D. 0.03).
Text:
Inscribed on the face, which is polished, and has been prepared with a lightly-cut grid, within which the letters are cut, one letter in each square.
Letters:
Irregular but clear, av. 0.025; epsilon is both lunate (ll. 2, 3) and square (ll. 4, 5). Two dots for stop, 1.4.
Date:
Fifth or sixth century (content, metre).
