Commentary:
This text was probably one of a group cut on a family tomb, elements of which were incorporated into the walls at the South-East Gate of the city: 12.410 (=MAMA 462), 13.302 (= MAMA 474, 475, 476), and this text. The group is published and discussed by Reynolds, 'The first known Aphrodisian to hold a procuratorship', Steine und Wege (Vienna 1999), 327-334.
