Translation:
The council and the people honoured Mithradates son of Athenagoras, a fine and good man, and adorned with all virtue.
Commentary:
This text was one of a group cut on the family tomb whose elements were incorporated into the walls at the south east gate of the city: 12.410 (= MAMA 462), 13.302 (=474, 475, 476) and 12.409 (Walls 151) The group is published and discussed by Reynolds 1999.
